Easy Pleasing Meatloaf


2 lbs. ground beef
1 pkg. (6oz.) Stovetop Stuffing mix for Pork
1 c. water
2 eggs, lightly beaten
½ c. Kraft Original barbecue sauce

Preheat oven to 400º. Mix beef, stovetop mix, water, eggs, and ¼ c. of the barbecue sauce in a bowl. Divide and shape mixture into 4 oval loaves. Place on foiled covered cookie sheet. Top with remaining barbecue sauce.
Bake 30 minutes, until cooked through (160º).
Cut in to slices and serve.

Amish White Bread

This recipe will give you two loaves of plain, sweet white bread that is quick and easy to make.

2 c. warm water
2/3 c. white sugar
1 ½ T. active dry yeast
1½ t. salt
¼ c. vegetable oil
6 c. flour

In a large bowl, dissolve the sugar in the warm water, and then stir in yeast. Allow to proof until yeast resembles a creamy foam.
Mix salt and oil into the yeast in your mixer. Mix in flour, one cup at a time. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Place in a well oiled bowl, and turn dough to coat. Cover with a damp cloth. Allow to rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
Punch dough down. Knead for a few minutes, and divide in half. Shape into loaves, and place into two well oiled 9x5 loaf pans. Allow to raise for 30 minutes, or until dough has risen 1 inch above pans.

Bake @350º for 30 minutes.
Remove from pans and place on cooling rack to cool. Coat top with a little butter while warm to keep crust soft.

Peanut Butter Blossoms

Try using minature Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in place of the Hershey Kisses - SO GOOD!!!!

1/2 c. butter - softened
2/3 c. peanut butter
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 T. milk
1 t. vanilla
1 ½ c. flour
1 t. baking soda
½ t. salt
Hershey Kisses or Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Beat butter, peanut butter, sugar, and brown sugar till creamy. Beat in egg, milk, and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix together.
Shape into 1" balls and roll in granulated sugar.
Bake @ 375º for 9-10 minutes.
Immediately press Hershey Kiss or Peanut Butter Cup into center of each cookie.

Angel Lush with Pineapple

This cake is so light and refreshing AND easy to whip up!!

1 pkg. (4 serving size) JELL-O instant Vanilla pudding
1 can- 20 oz.- Dole crushed pineapple w/ juice (don't drain)
1 cup Cool Whip
1 prepared round angel food cake
Fresh strawberries

Mix dry pudding mix and pineapple together until mixed.
Gently stir in cool whip.
Cut cake horizontally in three layers.
Top each layer with pudding mixture (see picture)
Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Just before serving top with fresh strawberries.
Store left overs in refrigerator.

Coconut Poke Cake

This cake is really good...not too "coco-nutty"!!

1 white cake mix
½ can of coconut milk - try it, it turns out really, really good!!
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 carton whipped topping
1 8 oz. pkg. flakes coconut

Prepare and bake cake according to directions on box. Remove cake from oven. While hot poke holes in cake with a fork.
Mix together ½ can of coconut milk and sweetened condensed milk. Pour over hot cake.
Let cake cool COMPLETELY then frost with whipped topping and top with flaked coconut.
Keep refrigerated and enjoy.

Glaze for Cheesecakes and Pies

This is a glaze you can make to add fresh berries too, to top a homemade cheesecake or make a pie with.

1 pkg. Kool-Aid -unsweetened - (use red Kool-Aid for red strawberries ,and blue for huckleberries or blueberries or the color to match your berries or fruit.)
4 T. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
~mix dry ingredients together~
put in sauce pan and add:
2 c. cold water, mix together
Bring to a boil.
Stir until thickened.
Let cool, then add berries or fruit and top your dessert.

Beef Stroganoff

I cook this in my crock pot and I get two meals out of this recipe. One night I serve it over noodles and the next night I serve it over baked potatoes.

1-2 lbs. hamburger or steak chunks
1 beef bouillon
1 chopped onion
1 lg. cream of mushroom soup
1 lg. cream of chicken soup
1 16oz. sour cream

Cook hamburger, onion, and bouillon till cooked. Drain if needed. Put in crock pot. Add soups. Simmer in crock pot on low till heated through. Stirring occasionally. Add sour cream 15-20 minutes before serving.

Easy Chili

2 lbs. hamburger
1 chopped onion
2-3 stalks of celery - chopped
1 lg. can tomato juice
1 lg. can pork and beans
1 lg. can chili beans
1 small can kidney beans
2-4 T. chili powder - depending on your taste.

Brown hamburger, onions, and celery. Drain hamburger if needed.
Add tomato juice, beans (drained), and chili powder.
Simmer at least 1 hour in crock pot.
Serve with corn bread and honey butter.
